Wine Maker’s Bio

Jordan Jeffries grew up with a family business in Oregon where he discovered an affinity for agriculture and science that eventually brought him to Napa Valley. In high school, when he wasn’t working with his family, he began working in a small Pinot Noir vineyard. After graduating from UC Davis with a degree in Viticulture and Enology he set his sights on Napa Valley and started from the ground up. Beginning as a cellar hand for Duckhorn he learned the practical aspects of what it takes to work in and run a cellar. After three years with Duckhorn, Jeffries moved onto being the Enologist for Merry Edwards where he was immersed in analyses; solidifying his knowledge in the microbiology and chemistry of the winemaking process. Since leaving the Enologist position Jordan has acted as Cellar Master for two well-known wineries and is currently running production for Davis Estates. With over 12 years’ experience in the wine industry Jordan Jeffries believes in high-quality and high-character, both in his wines and in his relationships.
